19 Oct How to Tap into the Diving Rod of Your Intuition
The Spirit of Play
‘Tis said that the quickest way to obtain your hearts desire is to play that you have it, now!
The spirit of play relaxes the mind. Your set plans or problems are, for the moment, set aside. In a happy unguarded moment, may come that idea which will turn the tide. Only thus, in a care-free mood, may the “magic rod” of Intuition uncover new sources of wealth for you.
“New wine, we pour not into old bottles,” nor may we expect a fresh supply if the present vessel, full of old concepts and set formulas, remains carefully corked and guarded.
One must occasionally empty his mind of all concern over Past, Present, or Future, if he would receive a new influx of vim and vigor with which to truly attract his own.
Thus, in the spirit of the day, with the search for gold and buried treasure back in vogue, we will take our divining rod and join the prospectors in a search for hidden wealth in the realm of Human Nature. There, rich finds already made, disclose diamonds in the rough and gold mines of undiscovered talent.
In the hunt for buried treasure in the realm of Human Nature, your diving rod of Intuition plays a most important part.
In a small town in Nevada, we are told that a group of unemployed, tearing down a shack for firewood, dtected signs of ore in the rock beneath. They took a specimen to the assayer, who sent back for more. The owner was sought, and he, unaware of his near good fortune, sold for $150 a bonanza gold mine. He was an unemployed miner, familar with ore in that locality, who had “never thought to examine the quartz rock on his own lot.”
Everyone has some good hidden from view which may be brought to light by the diving rod of his Intuition, when he becomes relaxed and sufficiently poised to let thhe “rod” turn in his own mind and lead him to the next step, instead of using his own will to force a situation and make things come his way.
When we go after a thing too strenuously, nine time out of ten we drive it from us. To receive, we must attract. To attract, we must be magnetic. To be magnetic, we must have a strong hidden force at our command which flows through us easily, smoothly, without any apparent effort of will. This requires a center of poise and balance. That is attained only when we can throw off our worries and stabilize ourselves with a new influx of power, allowing one part of our nature to rest and recuperate while we abandon ourselves to its opposite pole.
Reason as far as you can. When you can go no farther, stop. Sleep over it. Be quiet and listen.
When your desire reaches Up to include the best good of all, you tune in with that higher force of Intuition which sees farther than your conscious mind. Then if you will deign to listen, a happy surprise may await you.
Do not expect the answer in loud, deep tones which all the world may hear, but in that quiet rhythmic response which first calls to mind something not thought of before
In rhythm with wind and weather, you are prepared for both. With a knowledge of the energy waves about you, you may anticipate the next one, and ump the breakers with glee at te proper moment witout being bowled over by waves of depression or caught in the undertow. Observing each wave as it comes and catching its erhythm, you may use it as a lifebuoy to life you up and over to the next higher view.
