A Note on These Historical Photographs of Dr. Modeste Abda’llah Guillaume (Abdullah)
These are authentic early 20th-century newspaper photographs of Modeste Abda’llah Guillaume. This man later became known as Abdullah, Neville Goddard’s teacher.
The original newspaper clipping is on the left and on the right, a bit of cleaning has been done. So you can see the man.
As minimal an amount of restoration as possible has been done on these images: removing the half-tone print dots, scratch marks, small spots, and discolorations from the paper; also, the clarity and contrast improved. All original features … the expressions on his face, clothing, etc. have been left intact. Nothing has been altered, added or enhanced.
We hope these delicate restorations will dissuade AI generated images of Abdullah. These historical photos are really the only true and reliable representations we have of him.
Creating AI images would be fictional and misleading. And that would be a shame.
